Kept starving to death and had to pray repeatedly, so when a soldier ant was kicking my ass I couldn't do anything.

I also ran into my ghost TWICE. Free loot = rocks.

Even better, I sacrificed a corpse and got a Stormbringer which ROCKS.

But then I died, to a SOLDIER ant. That's saddening. =(

Best game yet, though...

And I was doing so well...

I was like DLvl 6, on only floor 3, when the monsters, they wouldn't stop coming...

It's not fair. I'm a priest and I didn't even have some sort of healing spell.

On the brightside, 3rd best game.

Arghhh.

It begins.

Awesome. Okay, I just entered Dlvl 4 (still Exp 1) and then a trap door drops me in a vault. I wait for a Kop to show up and bail me out (Not much I could do), then immediately on exit a gas spore explodes and KILLS ME. WHEN I COULDN'T DO MUCH OF ANYTHING.

I like how there really was no way to avoid this situation at all EVER.

What is this?

What is this? This is a vent. Nethack has pushed me to my mental limits... and I've only barely started playing. This is worse than I Wanna Be The Guy. There are no save points. If you die, you have to start ALL OVER.

What's worse is I've barely gotten past Floor 6. Out of 50. Who knows what challenges await me on the later floors when I can't even master basic survival skills.

Even worse is I'm playing as the easiest class: Priest. It happened when I decided I was tired of finding things cursed and not knowing they were cursed and putting them on (IE Amulet of Strangulation) and DYING.

So, I'm going to keep a blog on how I die, when I die, and how goddamned frustrating this game is.
